“Kashish” my mom yelled. I woke up, rubbed my eyes. “What happened” I mumbled putting on my glasses. ”Nothing Silly” She said as she bounced into my room. “We have already packed everything, just brush your teeth, you can sleep in the car.” Which then was exactly what I did.

“Wake up sleepy head, we’re here.”, said my dad and as he opened the door I came out and wow it was Washington D.C. amazing! We first headed to a museum called The Bureau of Printing & Engraving. We then stood in line for about 10 minutes but when it was finally our turn, we found out that the last ticket was gone. We were a little disappointed but then we headed to the Crime and Punishment Museum which was nearby. So we headed over there and were luckily there was no line.

We then stood in line for about 10 minutes but when it was finally our turn, we found out that the last ticket was gone. We were a little disappointed but then we headed to the Crime and Punishment Museum which was nearby. So we headed over there and were luckily there was no line.
When we were paying for out tickets, we found that there was a detective challenge in which you get a great prize. We accepted and luckily I had my brainiac parents on my side so we read and did the activities, where then we found the missing item and got an award that was lower then we expected. The 1st floor we went on was all about crimes that people committed and the punishments they got for doing a crime.One punishment that was horrifying to me was that in early times people’s heads got cut of just for stealing some corn.So after that floor we roamed to the second and third floor which was all about the show called Americas most wanted. Then I went to the gift shop to get my prize,got some stuff and headed for the hotel.(my parents did most of the work for the challenge)

When I walked inside the hotel’s stupendous room, I took a whiff of the air and it smelled just like pine cones. Then I took a quick glance of the room, and this was what I saw. I saw a black magnificent dresser, which had a Samsung* HD lying on it, and a grand mirror in which I gazed to see my pretty reflection in it. After that I looked to my right and saw two large beds, just waiting to be slept on. I walked to the end of the room and saw a spectacular dresser, with an old fashion light resting on it. I took a peek out of the windows from where I moved the pale curtains, and I saw a highway, just rushing with cars beside me. I then sat on a cool sofa and thought about how wonderful that room was, Phoooh!

After that, my family and I freshened up, ate some snacks, watched some T.V. Then my mom called her friend who lived close to the hotel and invited us to have dinner with her. We accepted since we hadn’t seen each other for years. So than we ate dinner, which was very yummy, talked and then came back to the hotel. When we got to the hotel, we all were so tired - we just jumped on the bed and slept. We were also filled with excitement and anticipation about the day ahead.
After that, my family and I freshened up, ate some snacks, watched some T.V. Then my mom called her friend who lived close to the hotel and invited us to have dinner with her. We accepted since we hadn’t seen each other for years. So than we ate dinner, which was very yummy, talked and then came back to the hotel. When we got to the hotel, we all were so tired - we just jumped on the bed and slept. We were also filled with excitement and anticipation about the day ahead.

The next day my family and I went to D.C.and my Dad and I went to the International Spy Museum while my mom took a ray of sunshine and enjoyed her book about mountains. We went inside and quickly found out that unlike the crime museum there were a lot of people and we waited in line for half an hour and then we finally got in. I liked the museum a lot. Did you know that 5 people can fit in a car without sitting on the seats? Also there was a James Bond exhibit and it showed the car from his latest movie Skyfall. But over all in all the museums, I liked Crime the best. Then my Dad suggested we see the Capitol Hill and the White House which was exactly what we did. When we reached the hill, we took pictures and then noticed that their was a zombie convention in which people dressed really creepy. We took pictures with a zombie bride and groom and more. Then we went to see the White House in where I was trying to look for two tall figures, but it did not work out!!! A little disheartened, I went back to the hotel, but then I had an awesome Mexican Dinner that made me again happy and then went of to slumberland.

The next day I was up for a cool surprise. When my parents had first told that we will go to a place called Busch Gardens. Initially, I thought it was a botanical garden, instead it turned out to be an actually a amusement park. When I found out, I was shocked! But I quickly pulled myself together and went inside with my Madre y Padre. Wasting no time, I got into the line for a roller coaster which was very scary, full of fun and stomach dropping. Unbelievably, my mom also joined me - wow!. Some of my favorites were water rides and a haunted house. In the haunted house, we went on a ride which was really awesome and was 4-D. Then the water ride was also pretty cool to because we had waves all over us and it was like we were steering a boat. Then a horrible thing happened, I was going to go on a ride but I tripped and fell really hard. Luckily there was no blood, but unluckily it hurt. So my parents helped me get up and we went to eat lunch. Well, let me tell you this, the lunch was amazing! The food was magnificent and I tried something new-a s’mores pizza. It tasted awesome and the marshmallow were stupendous!!!! Then after lunch we went for few more rides and then left to go back to home. But here was another surprise. I had slept in the car I woke up not in my room but in a hotel with my parents sleeping on another bed!! I rubbed my eyes and pinched my arm, but could not believe!

In the morning I found out that I was in a hotel in Virginia, close to Virginia Beach.So we headed there-and was it fun! The waves were high and they kept soaking me and throwing me in their cover.I enjoyed it and my family did too.After a little fun time in the water, I dug hole in the sand and then went back in the water to enjoy what nature had to offer me.Then, after a short period of time, we left the beach to go back to our home sweet home.
