Skiing!

I was sitting in the car, anticipating the day ahead. I was really excited because I was going skiing for the first time ever!!!! My dad parked the car and my mom and I got out. My mom and I went inside a store to get tickets while my dad went to look for a parking spot. When we got out of the store, we were greeted my some of my mom’s work fellow employees, since they were coming too. We all chatted for a few minutes and pretty soon my dad and everyone came and we headed inside another place to get skiing lesson tickets. My dad booked a private class for both of us, so we said bye to my mom since was going to stay with her work friends and we went to get our shoes and skis. We tried on each pair until we found the match. Then we headed out side to meet our teacher.

Bam!!! I fell, and laughed. I was putting on my skis and trying to stay up. This was my first time skiing and I was doing good so far until now. My teacher helped me get up and we headed for the chairlift. As I kept going up the view was wonderful. Then my teacher told me to keep my feet steady since we were going to go down the slope. So I braced myself and went down- it was fun!! Before I knew it , the class was over and me and my dad were practicing together. We both helped each other and went down the beginner slope until it was time to go. When I was putting my shoes on , my mom asked me if I had fun and wanted to go again next time. I told her” one word” YES!!!!!
